Nadeau Poultry Farm Ltd. is looking for someone with accounting knowledge to fill an Assistant Accountant position who will report to the Office Manager.

Requirements

• College or university diploma or equivalent experience
• Years of experience will be valued
• Ability to use the office365 suite
• Ability to use accounting software

Skills and aptitudes required

• Accounting degree
• Skills in using the Office 365 Suite
• Organization and rigor in the execution of entrusted tasks
• Vigilance and compliance with the regulations of chicken agencies
• Dynamism, responsiveness and taking initiatives
• Listening to and respecting the various interlocutors
• Bilingual, communication skills, both oral and written

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

• Month End tasks, balancing assets, journal entries
• Bookkeeping
• Management of bank accounts (reconciliation, transfers, exchange of US funds)
• Responsible for credit cards
• Responsible for the telephone system
• Tracking of levies and payments, supply agreements
• Validate the accuracy of payments to growers
• Control payments for the transport of live chickens
• Customer and grower relations
• Follow the regulations of the provincial agencies

Additional non-exhaustive tasks

• Assist the Director
• Replace the director in her absence
• Classification and archiving

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Teamwork at regular daytime hours
• Indoor work, only at the head office
• Between 36.50 and 40 / hours per week
• Salary to be negociated
