JOB TITLE: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Certified (Truck)
STATUS: Permanent full-time position, day / night shift
ESTABLISHMENT: St-François, New-Brunswick garage

POST:
- Full-time permanent (40 hours or more per week)
- Monday to Friday
- On-call
DUTIES:
- Determine the condition of the vehicle by conducting inspections; Identify worn and damaged parts.
- Maintain equipment available for use by completing preventative maintenance programs; installation of components and part upgrades; control corrosion; Complete winterization procedures.
- Correct vehicle defects by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, subassemblies, components, parts, or systems.
- Verify the vehicle's performance by conducting road tests; Adjustment of controls and systems.
- Maintain the appearance of the vehicle by cleaning, washing and painting.
- Keep vehicle records, noting services and repairs.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other work such as roadside maintenance of equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Have 2 years of experience
- Demonstrate initiative
- Demonstrate flexibility
- Be physically fit
